Shield Total Insurance has years of experience in the field of caravanning, leisure and touring insurance. But when it came to the highly competitive online world of insurance they were relative novices.

Problem

Shield Insurance were spending thousands on “offline” marketing, even though they were trading profitability they had next to no online exposure through Paid Search or Search Engine Optimisation, Xyone needed to change this.

Objectives

Our number one objective was to create Shield with an online marketing strategy that was cost effective and profitable. We also aimed to:

  • Develop a 12 month online marketing plan with quarterly updates
  • Re design and development of the company website plus creative designs for advertising banners
  • The administration of a pay-per-click campaign
  • Advice and support around blogs, social bookmarking, e-newsletters and affiliate programmes
