Bespoke Website Functionality.
The Challenge
Xyone’s client Gabriel Ash has a large product range with complex product add ons and variations. Gabriel Ash struggled to display their product range on their website in an attractive and user friendly format. Gabriel Ash needed functionality on their website that allowed visitors to easily browse through the range of greenhouses and “build” the ideal greenhouse for them and show that
The Results
Xyone designed and developed a “Greenhouse Designer” for Gabriel Ash that included a seven step process for a visitor to “build” their own website using over a hundred different product variations from choosing from the options of ranges, styles, widths and models. Xyone also incorporated integrating images for each of these variations.
Xyone also achieved;
- Created an easy and simplistic function for Gabriel Ash customers to build their own bespoke greenhouse.
- An effected backend system was built resulting in the website visitor receiving a PDF of the greenhouse they have built and pricing information. This as well as the visitors contact information is also sent to Gabriel Ash’s sales team.
- After Xyone and Gabriel Ash launched this function Xyone found it had a 10% increase in their users average time on the Gabriel Ash website.
As well as working closely with Gabriel Ash on this particular website functionality, the Xyone team also devise and drive their online marketing strategy including, SEO, social media and lead generation.
Testimonial
“When it came to website design and the implementation of our new website earlier this year, they were on top of it the whole way through the process. Our dedicated project analyst worked tirelessly to ensure that the website was up and running on time.”
Methodology
Gabriel Ash presented Xyone with a concept of having a “Greenhouse Designer” on their website that customers could interactively build their ideal greenhouse. Xyone’s main objective was to create a bespoke that uses the most up to date technologies available. Xyone also needed to:
- Build the application on the Gabriel Ash website where it would not affect the current websites functionality.
- Build the application ensuring all background product specifications are stored correctly so greenhouses can be designed effectively.
