Bespoke Website Functionality.
The Challenge
Xyone’s client Apropos have been designing and building glass structure that are both beautiful and functional for over 50 years and their brochure request model is the lifeblood of Apropos’ marketing campaign to sell their durable glass structures. Xyone’s reporting team begun to observe a pattern from the Apropos’ website visitors; visitors who didn’t request a brochure generally visited an average of 4 pages before exiting the website. Xyone detected that by the large amount of website visitors leaving the website without requesting a brochure were resulting in a lower website conversion percentage and ROI for Apropos.
The Results
To solve the issue Xyone developed and implemented a brochure request pop up that displayed automatically when a website visitor has viewed 3 website pages.
The Xyone pop up brochure request strategy for their client was very successful. Apropos gave Xyone a target number of brochure requests to achieve within 1 month of going live, we reached this target number within 72 hours after the launch.
- The active management and on-going support Xyone offered resulted in Apropos gaining more leads and brochure requests which ultimately resulted in a higher conversion rate and profit for the company.
- Xyone has also found that the user’s time on the site and total number of page views since the pop up brochure request was launched has increased by 14%. Xyone also found that bounce rates had decreased by 3% indicating that the pop up brochure request function is having a positive effect on the website.
Xyone have also worked closely with Apropos on their affiliate campaign, lead generation marketing, website design and development, SEO strategy and more recently developed a bespoke CRM system.
Methodology
Apropos relies heavily on sales converted from brochure requests and it was crucial that Xyone increased the total number of brochure requests their client received. To achieve this Xyone needed to;
- Conceive an idea to enhance the number of leads acquired by the Apropos website, which resulted in the pop up brochure request development.
- Develop a system which proactively engages website visitors into requesting a brochure within a 1 month timeframe. Create a shorter brochure request form to promote the brochure.
- Set up a method of tracking the success of the development.
