SEO's concept 'remains the same'

Despite constant claims that search engine optimisation (SEO) is dying, the digital marketing tactic is simply evolving.
That is the opinion of search engine marketer Rachel Andersen, who stated that SEO is not dead.
In an article for Search Engine Journal, she added that the concept of SEO has not changed, despite its constantly evolving nature.
She said: "The fundamentals remain the same: provide useful content, present it in a functional way and you'll be rewarded with better search engine visibility."
Ms Andersen explained that SEO cannot stay the same as by its very nature it is a dynamic digital marketing tactic.
"The effectiveness of more tactical efforts like optimising your title tags will undoubtedly have less and less of an impact," she commented.
Ms Andersen advised digital marketers carrying out SEO campaigns to always focus on the content and how to make it accessible to as many internet users as possible, be it through the site itself or from search engines or social media.
SEO expert and blogger Nick Stamoulis recently told Search Engine Journal that digital marketers could use an analytics program to see how successful their keywords are.
He explained that by using software such as Google Analytics, digital marketing professionals could find new keywords to use on a site.
