Online video advertising market 'growing significantly'

Digital marketing professionals have been advised that the online video advertising market is "growing significantly".

According to Jamie Estrin, managing director of online video advertising network Web TV Enterprise, 2010 has been the busiest year so far for the industry.

"With more and more premium video content going online, the audience is growing all the time and with any evolving market place there's lots of new players arriving there, which is great," he commented.

The upcoming launch of Apple's new product the iPad may also provide a boost to digital marketing professionals who are looking to take advantage of new opportunities to advertise their products and services via the internet.

However, Mr Estrin said the iPad will just be one part of the growth in the video advertising market.

This comes after a study by .Fox Networks found that marketing campaigns which used video advertising online increased their brand awareness, which could persuade digital marketers to try out the new tactic.

A recent survey by Utalkmarketing.com also discovered that many digital marketing professionals are planning to use online video advertising as part of their campaigns over the coming months.

According to the research, 71 per cent of the 100 respondents will use video advertising this year as a digital marketing tactic.ADNFCR-2033-ID-19693582-ADNFCR
